Boys Toy Ideas

How many boys like dinosaurs? Most of them I’d guess. So imagine what they would say if they had their own moving, reacting, sensitive pet dinosaur? Well, we all know that’s not possible, but Pleo the Robotic Dinosaur is the next best thing.

Pleo has sensors all over his body that allows him to react to his environment. Pleo is driven by a complex operating system, that actually learns as he gets older. Pleo evolves according to his surroundings, meaning no two Pleos are the same.

After you activate Pleo into your home, he’ll move around freely adapting to the stuff he encounters. If he hurts his leg, he’ll even limp! Pleo’s unique personality will change over time based on his experiences with you. Pleo will give your son lots of hours of fun, but watch out – he is an animal, so is very unpredictable. You’ll love Pleo.

Maybe your son doesn’t like dinosaurs, so how about a bionic eye? Eyeclops the bionic eye is a hand held microscope that will plug right into your television or computer, and can magnify objects up to 400 times right there on your TV / Computer screen. Your kids will be amazed as your own skin looks like some sort of alien landscape.

Eyeclops the bionic eye comes with a number of accessories including a tube to collect specimens, and of course a viewing dish, so your child can collect and view samples safely.

If your kids like watching objects magnified on their TV with the bionic eye, maybe they’d also like to be able to take photographs of the world around them. VTech have come out with a range of Kidizoom cameras, including the camouflage camera and a a tough durable one for taking on outdoor adventures. The Kidizoom cameras take real photographs with the help of a flash if necessary, and the photos can be previewed on the LCD screen of the camera and even edited on the camera itself.

Kidizoom cameras come with 16MB of internal storage , but this can be increased with memory cards. They come in a range of colours, including pink.

The Kidizoom cameras are designed for children of at least 3 years old.
