Although plenty of people do a single word search, generally speaking, it’s a little harder to get good rankings for simple single terms, especially in a competitive niche. Even phrases like credit card throw up 176,000,000 results so they are tough to do well for.
That’s where the keyword phrases come in. Credit card application, for example, has only 3,480,000 results. Still a lot, but much lower than credit card. Apply for credit card has just over 1,000,000 results.
And as long as there are good numbers of people searching for the phrase, the longer phrases are very often much easier to get ranked for. For example, there’s a 3 word phrase one of my sites ranks for and I get #1 in MSN and #5 in Google. Those 2 results bring me in steady traffic and steady revenue.
If your site uses such keywords it can be much easier to get near the top of the search engine results – especially if you know the right way to implement a link-building campaign.
When you’re writing articles you should think about a range of keyword phrases you want your sites to be ranked for. Using some of the keyword phrases in the article is a good start, but in your call to action, your resource box, be sure to use the main keyword phrase you want to rank for. Use it as the anchor text to your site. If you’re not sure what that means, here’s an example for this post:

In the example above I used keyword selection as the anchor text. Used in that way it tells the search engines that the website/page it links to is related to that phrase. Any time somebody looked for keyword selection my post would be there.
When you are choosing your keywords spend some time checking the top 10 results in each search engine to see what your competition is. No point trying to take on sites that already have thousands of links with that anchort text – it would be too hard to climb the search engines with that much competition.
After you’ve chosen the main keyword phrase to target you should also pick several variations. Try to create new articles based around the various keyword phrases, remembering each time to use the main keyword phrase that you’re writing about as your anchor text. That way you have a chance to appear in the search results for a number of keyword phrases, thus ensuring more traffic.
Is there an easy way to do Keyword Research?
Well, it can be time consuming to do the research on keywords and to find out where the competition is. When you’re using article marketing to generate revenue, good choice of keywords is essential. If you imagine how a basement is first built, when the house it is sited in was first conceived, then basically the following happens:
A big hole in the ground is dug, the footer or foundations are laid, the walls of the basement are built and then the rest of the house follows. From this list the most vital point is the top one – the vast crater dug in the earth. The construction of basement walls invariably leaves a void on the exterior which requires backfilling. Loose backfill is used to fill in the gap. The problem here is that water looks for the path of least resistance, and you’ve just given it just that with a huge pile of loose backfill, no matter how well it’s been compacted.
Water will continuously seep into this area. The conventional basement waterproofing provides some form of drainage pipe for this water to drain away, but the problem with this is that often these pipes get silted up. As the water comes it brings all sorts of suspension with it and that is to be expected as it is natural. The system can overload if the pipes get over-filled and then the pressure of the built up water would be concentrated on the outer basement walls. If there are crevices in the walls, water will push through even if the basement walls are waterproofed.
This type of problem doesn’t usually go away because the pipes that are supposed to take away the excess water gradually worsen over time. Many times there is simply no access to these pipes which is a huge oversight. Basement waterproofing is also applied to the external walls of the basement to try and keep the water out. Usually this is called a tanked system.
If you want to find out if you have water inside the concrete block of your walls simply tap a hole into the concrete block, near the floor, and see if you have water coming out of this block then you may want to consider a drained cavity waterproofing system this system drains the water from your walls, much the same way you just did, by adding drain holes in the bottom blocks that allows those areas to drain into a type of interior french drain system. Water is controlled, collected and allowed to flow through hidden drainage channels either to natural drainage or to a sump pump where the water is removed away from the property.
Basement waterproofing systems are superior because they are installed internaly, have easy access ports for removing silt, and can be installed in basements where other methods have failed.
You want to be sure to choose a reliable waterproofer for your home, keep in mind that it will greatly increase the value by far more than what you initally paid. You should look at waterproofing not as an expense but as an investment in the value of your home.

The tax part of the plan will include many benefits for individuals as well as businesses. Individuals will see an increase in the child tax credit, earned income credit, a decrease in payroll taxes, additional college tuition tax credits, and additional funds for first-time home buyers.
Businesses will see tax breaks for purchasing new equipment, allowing more credits for renewable energy, and giving businesses the option to claim tax credits on past profits from the previous five years instead of the current two years allowable under tax law. You may also receive large tax breaks for making your business more energy efficient.
