Curtains Or Blinds?

Deciding between curtains and blinds is not an easy task, cinsidering many benefits both of them offer. Since both window treatments have advantages and disadvantages, you will have to relly on your taste and needs to pick the window treatment that suits your home best. It is opinion of many that curtains are traditional and most often choice. It’s because they are offering privacy while providing the decorative look at the same time. And since it is easy to find curtains in any color we imagine as well as in any design and pattern, its easy to find a match for every window in our home.

Window curtains are a great choice for our decoration because of their style, but they have some disadvantages too. They are not able to provide the level or privacy blinds are able to. And when we remember how much time we need to wash and dry them, we realize that much time is spent on these tasks. The real problem is that you have no choice. Curtains will quickly lose their attractiveness if we do not wash them from time to time.

The alternative, of course, is to choose blinds. With blinds instead of curtains in your home, you not only get privacy, but you also get the ability to adjust them to allow your preferred amount of light into the room. You have a lot of choices when it comes to color with blinds, but not as much as you have with curtains. With blinds, as opposed to curtains, you can draw them, drop them, or simply adjust the slat angles to get as much light or as much of a breeze as you desire. You won’t have to remove the blinds from the windows in order to clean them.
