Tinnitus – Why Is There No Cure?

Posted by Sarah on Jan 29, 2009 in Fine Articles

Tinnitus Education

Tinnitus is a condition that has been around for many years but seems to be getting worse in these loud time we live in.

Many tinnitus patients report that one of the main tinnitus is exposure to loud noise.

Indeed it is getting harder to escape being exposed to loud noise in this fast paced, loud and busy world we all take for granted these days.

The worst part about tinnitus is that there is no cure! This may seem strange, given that so many millions of people suffer form tinnitus.

Tinnitus Causes

In most cases tinnitus is self inflicted, especially with the growing popularity of devices like the Apple iPod and similar MP3 players. This trend is certainly set to continue as these devices become more popular and the make things worse, just about every cell phone these days is also an MP3 player.

These devices are extremely popular amongst students, sportsman and women and commuters. The lat mentioned typically will use the MP3 player as a means of passing time and masking the noise and clutter all around them as they commute.

The problem, because the trains, buses and traffic is so loud, they need to increase the volume levels and this is where the damage starts occurring and tinnitus cause rears it’s ugly head.

Most folk don’t even know about tinnitus or the tinnitus causes and how debilitating it can be until they already have it, at which time it is too late obviously!

So it is my opinion the best tinnitus cure is education! Teach the kids about it at school and college much the same as is happening with sex education! We talk about sex with the kids so why not discuss tinnitus with them.

Yellowfin Tuna, Pasta gift Basket and Balsamic Vinegar of Modena

Posted by Sarah on Jan 29, 2009 in Fine Articles

Recently, I’ve come upon an interesting store offering a wide variety of exotic spices, foods and more. It’s CyberCucina.

Among the items offered:

  • Balsamic Vinegar of Modena. A variety of containers labeled Balsamic Vinegar can be stumbled upon in most grocery stores. However, there is balsamic vinegar and then there is Balsamic Vinegar of Modena. One need not be a chef or connoisseur to tell which is which because the difference in taste is readily apparent.
  •

  • Pasta Gift Basket.

Quoting directly from the CyberCucina web site:

We believe pasta is one of the most versatile food products available. With all of its shape variations and the myriad of sauce combinations, the possiblilities are practically endless.

Our Gourmet Pasta Sampler offers some familiar and some quite unique pasta cuts to enjoy. We begin with Croxetti, pasta discs in the shape of coins each stamped with a stalk of wheat. They are wonderful with substantial sauces such as pesto or walnut sauce.

Next we offer Troffiette. This thin, tight twist shaped pasta has the appearance of being hand rolled and then “pinched” at each end. It is commonly served with basil pesto or walnut pesto since its twisted shape holds these sauces nicely.

Trofiette is also delicious when served with fresh seasonal vegetables like green beans or spinach served with pancetta or potatoes in a rich meat based broth. Try trofiette with butter and fresh herbs served with a meaty fish or with shellfish.

Gnocchi are similar to potato dumplings. They are elegant served with a butter-sage sauce, and rustic and homey with a tomato based sauce.

Farro is an excellent grain which is a precursor of wheat and much easier to digest. It has a bit of a nutty flavor but works well with most sauce preparations. We offer two cuts of Farro pasta—Rigatini and Pizzichi.

We complete our selection with two small cuts of pasta which work well with soups as well as salads—Orzo, which is very similar to rice, and Fregola Sarda which is a bit like a large grain couscous.

The entire pasta collection is presented in a beribboned gift box and suits any gift-giving occasion.

  • Yellowfin Tuna

Tonnino tuna fillets with garlic in olive oil Offer a versatile alternative as the main ingredient in a salad, combined with rice or pasta as a main dish, or simply enjoyed as a canapé on soda crackers or toast.

Tuna is an excellent source of high quality protein, and is rich in a variety of important nutrients including minerals such as selenium, magnesium, and potassium; the B vitamins niacin, B1 and B6; and perhaps most importantly, the beneficial omega-3 essential fatty acids. In addition, our tuna is preserved in Olive Oil, another excellent dietary choice.

Tonnino tuna is wild caught, dolphin safe and hand packed in glass jars without preservatives, additives, or fillers.

Each jar of Tonnino Tuna Fillets with Garlic in Olive Oil contains 6.7oz. or 190g.

Call 1-800-796-0116 or visit our home page here for more information.

I’ve found this to be a delightful online store with a wide variety of offerings. I’m sure you’ll enjoy and appreciate it as well.

Free Police Arrest Records

Posted by Sarah on Jan 29, 2009 in Fine Articles

We pride our society on transparency and accountability and we walk the talk. It’s demonstrated in the way we uphold our Public Records. Complete range of Public Records is mandated by law to be made available to the public, not least those pertaining to Criminal Violation. The more prominent categories within this group are Arrest, Inmate, Police, Sex Offender and Court Records.

One of the most well searched of the Criminal categories is Free Arrest Records. The key differentiation in it from the others is that an official arrest is documented every time someone is apprehended, detained or brought into custody by any enforcement authorities, including Military personnel, on grounds of suspicion or allegation of breaking the law whether or not it results in eventual incarceration.

Arrest Records are basically Public Records. That makes them accessible by the public as long as procedures are complied with. Free Arrest Records are obtainable from government agencies including Police Departments and even the FBI. This may be done by mail, telephone, in person, fax or online over the internet which is becoming a vastly popular method of retrieval. Public Arrest Records are also widely carried by commercial information providers.

Public Arrest Records are governed by state laws. As such, there are variations in regard to their access and use from one state to another especially in areas deemed to be sensitive or against public interests. Security, classified matters, individual privacy or where it concerns juveniles and high-profile personalities like politicians and celebrities are examples where treatment deviates from the norm. Outside of that, accessibility is generally unrestricted.

The opposite side of the coin to transparency is privacy. The laws forbid employers to ask direct and open questions about Arrest history during job interviews. In other instances, it’s simply touchy. Public Arrest Records are thus very useful for discreet checks and is widely, albeit quietly conducted on employees, social acquaintance, tenants, neighbors, nannies, care-givers, future spouse, prospective in-laws or any fishy people we come across.

A great deal of information about people can be derived from their Police Arrest Records. Typically, they contain the personal particulars and description of the individual, the details of each of the arrests such as the time and place, case number, warrant, agency, offence, and so forth. Related records which may also show up include bankruptcies and liens, civil judgments, tax offense and others.

The two basic versions of Public Arrest Records available are the free-of-charge (FOC) and fee-based ones. FOC sources are mainly found at government offices. While it’s also common for commercial providers to offer free searches, reports or any information download are chargeable. FOC records however tend to require further work so paid professional records are essential for official or legal purposes. The industry is fiercely competitive so you’ll get your money’s worth.
